1st Anniversary of SSC Nursing school with the occasion of World Nursing day.

A well organized ceremony was held on 12th May, 2007 the Nursing school of SSC on the occasion of the 1st Anniversary of the school and world nursing Day as well. The school was established by Drs. Zahra Awed who had her higher and graduated from the well-known Universities of Malaysia. She later on become among the Diaspora but soon after returned to carry for the purpose to contribute to the wellbeing of the community.

Peace reconciliation meeting held in Burtinle finalized on 7th -8Th May, 2007

A peace reconciliation meeting was conducted in Burtinle and lasted two day period was finalized on 7th -8th May, 2007.
Unfreezing exercises which can’t be summed up in a short writing have been accomplished in this two day meeting. However, reports over the chronologically arranged historical events of the endeavors made on resolving the deep rooted conflict in between the two clans of Baharasame (Dhulbahante) and Omar Mahamoud (Majeerteen) have been presented on the basis of the following key themes.

Update over humanitarian situation of IDPs who fled From Mogadishu for

As we all bear in mind, the armed conflict which burst out in Mogadishu caused displacement of hundred thousands to flee from their shelters and properties. This displacement is new in type for never in history had the population noticed such worse humanitarian situation particularly in the year 2007.

Musse Yusuf Library and laboratory related issue

Muse Yusuf secondary school is the Sole functioning secondary school in Las-Anod, Sool region. Around 600 students of different grades are registered and attend this school to have their secondary education. Also 400 students are expected to join this school in the academic year of 2007 – 2008. This will be subject to the availability of classes. As to the liability in relation to the new enrolment students will learn on shift basis. According to the school management information system.
